FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Products

Are your products suitable for professional workshop use?

Yes. Every product in our catalogue is selected from hands-on workshop experience. We use these products ourselves in our MOT welding and fabrication work, so you can trust they are professional grade.

Do you stock repair panels for vehicles other than Transit and Land Rover?

Our current catalogue focuses on Ford Transit and Land Rover repair panels as these are the most common vehicles we work on. We are expanding our range — contact us if you need panels for a specific vehicle.

What MIG wire do you recommend for MOT welding?

We stock mild steel MIG wire in 0.8mm, which is the most common size for vehicle bodywork and MOT welding repairs. Our 50kg bulk spool is ideal for high-volume workshop use.

Technical

Which underseal is best for UK vehicles?

For UK road conditions we recommend Bilt Hamber Dynax-UB or Lanoguard for long-term protection. For a budget-friendly option, DINITROL 4941 is a solid professional choice.

Do I need to use a weld-through primer when fitting repair panels?

Yes — always apply a weld-through primer to bare metal before welding panels in place. This prevents rust forming at the weld joint. We stock AutoTek and U-POL weld-through primers.
